一、考點解讀
應用文是指日常生活和工作中為某種具體的實用目的而寫的文體，主要有書信、通知、海報、請柬、請假條、便條、日記、啟事、祝辭、履歷表等。應用文的語言力求平實、準確、簡潔，表達的內容結構嚴謹，且易于理解掌握。寫作時要注意以下幾點：
1．正式的應用文有比較規范的格式，但高考中的基礎寫作至今尚未考查過格式，只要求表達正文內容。
2．注意時態，如日記常用過去時態，通知、請柬通常要用將來時態，而履歷表用現在時態。
3．應用文的寫作往往有一些特定的習慣語句或套話，這些語句在考試中可能會考查到，所以要重點掌握。
二、典例導練
最近，某中學生英文報開設了“After-class Activities”的欄目，請你根據以下提示，為該欄目寫一篇英文稿件，并鼓勵同學們積極參加課外活動。
